Safe Use of Fragrance Lamp Minimize

Fragrance Lamp Safety Tips

  1. Treat fragrance fuel just like you would isopropyl alcohol. Do not store it next to an open flame and do not allow children to touch it.
  2. Never leave stone burning with an open flame.
  3. Do not let stone burn with open flame for longer than 3-4 minutes.
  4. Always clean any spills of fuel immediately and prior to lighting lamp.
  5. Consider using a glove or oven mitt to remove decorative crown while lamp is active.
  6. Never fill lamp chamber more than 2/3's full.
  7. Never place snuffing cap over open flame.
  8. Do not refill lamp until stone is cool to touch.

Fragrance Lamps Usage Tips

  1. After adding fuel to lamp, always put the snuffing cap back on the lamp. Failure to do so will cause damage to the stone. The fragrance fuel will soak into the stone. The alcohol will evaporate leaving the fragrance in the stone which will clog the stone. A clogged stone will not work properly.
  2. Do NOT place fragrance lamp or fragrance lamp oil directly on wood or other finished surface. The fuel may harm these surfaces.
  3. Place the decorative cap and snuffing cap beside your fragrance lamp to avoid misplacement.
  4. Always use funnel to pour fragrance fuel into lamp.
  5. Replace the wick assembly after 6-12 months depending on use.
  6. Always replace snuffing cap when lamp is not in use. Failure to do so will allow the fragrance fuel remaining in the lamp to evaporate.
  7. Don't remove the wire across the top of the stone - the entire wick assembly must be purchased, you cannot replace just the stone.
  8. Don't trim or adjust the wick.
  9. Don't let the frame burn for longer than 5 minutes.

Fragrance Lamp Care

  1. Replace the wick assembly after 6-12 months depending on use.
  2. If you will not use the lamp for an extended period of time, pour out any remaining fuel. Remove wick assembly and allow it to dry completely.
  3. If the fragrance lamp stone becomes clogged, try soaking the stone in fragrance lamp fuel for 30 minutes. Try the ignition process again, if the stone still does not light, replace the wick assembly.
